Minors will be barred from participating and banned from the event. The works made for the event (both art and fic) will be hosted on an AO3 collection.

Event Guidelines
Vanco (Vander/Silco) will be the focus of the exchange event, though background ships (JayVik, CaitVi, Timebomb, etc) are welcome.
You can choose between creating artwork or fanfic based on your gifter's prompts, it's up to you.
Discord will be our primary method of communication, with the works hosted on an AO3 collection.
Do not, under any circumstances, break anonymity by contacting the person you're creating a gift for.
Gift Requirements
Once you’ve received your match, you can begin working on your gift immediately.Participants will be making gifts in their preferred form of media, which can range from poems, fics, fanart, comics, and more. These are only minimum requirements, not maximum limits. Have fun with that!
Fanart Minimum: Fully lined with flat colours.
Fanfic Minimum: 1,000 words.
Poem Minimum: 300 words.
Please ensure your gift is appropriately tagged according to Ao3’s tagging guidelines. If you create art for the exchange, it will also have to be uploaded as a work to Ao3. See this helpful tutorial if you need to know how to upload your art to Ao3.
Signing Up
Participants will fill out directly onto the AO3 collection, listing what they like and dislike as both the gifter (what you give) and giftee (what you receive). In this form, you will list your boundaries and interests for your gifter to avoid or include within their gift. You can optionally provide prompts to inspire your gifter, though it is not expected that they follow it to the letter.Once matching is complete, you will know who you’re making a gift for, but you will not know who is making a gift for you.It is crucial to not contact the person (or people) you are making gifts for. Remain anonymous until the creator reveals on October 31st.

Please ensure you can work with this schedule before you sign up. Changes to these dates will be minimal and based on participants’ progression, with an immediate announcement in the Discord server to inform of the changes.

“I need an extension!”
Contact the event moderators immediately with how much of an extension you require. Your extension limit will be November 20th, when the collection is closed. If you need an extension beyond that, let us know as soon as possible.“I need to drop out. Will I still get a gift?”
Your gifter will be contacted and asked if they still wish to complete your gift. Depending on their response, you may or may not receive a gift.“Do I need to follow the prompts exactly?”
No, they are meant to inspire. This event is not a way to get a free commission.“I need a beta reader. How do I go about that in the server?”
There's a channel called "beta-requests" where you can ping the associated user role ("BETA READER") to ask for a beta reader. Please ensure the person you're writing for is not your beta. Or you can ask your friends in other servers, that's fine too :)“Can I share WIPS publicly/in the server?”
Please try and avoid doing so for anonymity.“I made art for my person! Where do I/can I post it?”
You must make it part of the ao3 collection by submitting it as a work. To add an artwork to an Ao3 post, see this helpful tutorial.
“But do I still need to tag it appropriately, like a fic?”
Yes. You can add the tag “Art”, to inform others of what’s inside your work.“My question isn’t listed here. What do I do?”
Contact event moderators through Tumblr asks or Discord, and we’ll do our best to help you.
